Aldi’s Tramore Planning Application Refused

18 November 2017 Latest News Local News News

The supermarket giant had lodged a planning application seeking permission to build a 1,729 square metre, single storey shop, in the Strand Road area of Tramore.

The application also included for 112 car parking spaces and lighting, as well as the construction of a single storey ESB substation, all landscaping, boundary treatment and site development and drainage works on the site.

A number of objections had been lodged with Waterford City & County Planning Department early in November.

On Thursday 16th November the Planning Department announced that the application had been refused. Aldi can appeal the decision, however no appeal has been lodged at this time.

You can view the full application, as well as the objections lodged here.
