Croce self produced his first album ‘Facets’ in 1966 with $500 that was a wedding gift from his parents. The Louisiana native came into his own in the early seventies. ‘Time in a Bottle’ topped the Billboard charts, a feat he equalled with the Worldwide smash ‘Bad Bad Leroy Brown’.
