Prayers have been said for honeymooners John and Lynette Rodgers at the church where they exchanged wedding vows little over a week ago.

Assistant minister Stephen Lowry said the congregation at First Holywood Presbyterian had been plunged into “intensive grief”. Speaking in front of almost 200 parishioners, many of whom knew the 26-year-old bride since she was a child, the minister told of their immense heartache at a “terrible loss”.

Amazon is taking legal action against more than 1,000 people for allegedly posting fake reviews on its website. The lawsuit, filed in a state court in Seattle, cites 1,114 defendants for “tarnishing Amazon’s brand for their own profit and the profit of a handful of dishonest sellers and manufacturers”.
