Since its inception in 2009, TCRfm has grown from strength to strength under the guidance of its Co-Founder Mr. Garrett Wyse. What started out as a dream for two Tramore men turned into reality and over the years it has grown from our small studio on Main St with 25 volunteers to moving to Queen St where we have 2 studios and almost 70 Volunteers, as well as 3 Tús workers

TCRfm is now host to the CE Schemes in Tramore with 31 positions, 4 of which are directly involved with the station. Other projects in the scheme include The Lafcadio Hearn Garden, Tramore Coast Guard Culture Centre, Klub Music, Tramore Tidy Towns Tramore Tourism, Foroige & T Bay. This has all been made possible under the supervision of Garrett Wyse.

The Board Of Directors and Volunteers of TCRfm would like to acknowledge and thank Garrett for everything he has achieved and done for TCRfm in securing their opportunity for gaining a full time broadcasting licence.

With TCRfm expanding in size and personnel it is now in a position to employ a full time Station Manager with assistance from CSP/POBAL. The Board wish to announce that the position of station manager has been awarded to Mr. Mark Collins. Mark is no stranger to Tramore having lived and attended the local CBS school.

Mark has a wealth of experience in the radio industry starting his career in 1988 on KCR. Other stations that have gained from Mark’s expertise include Radio Kilkenny, Tipp FM, Dublins 98FM, Atlantic 252 and more recently C.R.K.C

The Board of Management, Staff and Volunteers would like to welcome Mark on board and wish him the very best in his endeavours at TCRfm.
