To my surprise a quick Google revealed that it’s a line from Dire Straits’ ‘Industrial Disease’, which leaves me doubly surprised as this would be among my favourites of their songs. I should have known that. It is funny how the memory plays tricks but you must admit it does sound Dylanesque….
