On Christmas Day at 11am, T-Bay Surf Club are holding a “Splash and Dash” in aid of the Arch Club, a club for intellectually and physically challenged people. All ages are welcome, a bucket collection will take place on the day. Santa may also be making an appearance!

Following Tramore AFC’s Aviva Club of the Year win in June, celebrations were held at Graun Park on July 5th. Our James O’Sullivan went along on the evening to interview club members. Due to the inability to implement an effective reindeer traffic plan Santa was forced to rely upon modern technology and his sat nav left us all down. So for those who were disappointed, Santa will return and travel across the Mile road (the Ring road) where all can see him.

Although TCR FM was the first licensed radio station ever to broadcast from studios in Tramore, we were not Tramore’s first radio station. That accolade belongs to pirate station ABC Radio which began broadcasting in March 1982 from a caravan in Newtown. For our last day on air, two of ABC’s founders Clive Derek and Andy Ellis put together this tribute.
