Public meeting re: Tramore Community’s response to Cardiac Emergency

Tramore Community Radio in association with Tramore Order of Malta presents a public meeting – " Tramore Community's Response to Cardiac Emergency," this Thursday 5th November at 8pm in Raglan Road / Esquire, Bar / Restaurant Tramore.
 
Audience participation is welcome to discuss a strategy to help save lives in Tramore. Paul Horan ( owner of the Raglan Road / Esquire restaurant in Tramore ) and Sean Martin ( owner of the local post office) will be thanked by Mayor Eamon Quinlan for dedicating the public access defibrillator ( located on the Post Office wall ) to the people of Tramore. During the evening the 65 local people recently trained ( without training fee ) by Denise and John Kelly of First Aid and Medical Training Services can collect their certs as Cardiac First Responders.
 
Representatives from social, volunteer, political, medical, rescue, emergency and media groups have been invited as well as the general public with an interest in saving lives.
 
In between the talking, there will be light refreshments provided and music by band "The Ferrymen".
