     Well done to the U16 Hurlers from Tramore who on the 18th of October traveled to the Fraher Field to take on Ballyduff Upper in the Div 3 County Final, Ballyduff had beaten Tramore only a few weeks previous by 1pt in the last league game of the County campaign. They knew they were in for a tough game and it certainly didn’t disappoint,

Both teams traded scores in a hard fought end to end first half which saw both teams going in level at the break,0-7 a piece,and the second half followed suit with both teams fighting for every sliotar,with only seconds remaining Tramore won a free and Tom Kavanagh kept his cool to score the winning point.

     Tramore won the game game on a scoreline of 0-13pts to 0-12 and for everyone that was there the final whistle was greeted with a great roar and celebrations,well done to the whole team on this great win after many years of disappointment.
     The Tramore team line up was:

The U21 hurlers had a good win over Ferrybank last Sunday in Ballygunner , a great team effort , they now contest an Eastern Final which will be played in the next week or so. The U16s also defeated St.Marys to reach the Eastern Final as well . well done to all involved .

The next draw takes place this Wednesday, 5 November, when the Jackpot will be €3,300. Tickets €2 each are on sale in the usual outlets. There was no winner of the €3,200 Jackpot in last Wednesday weeks draw. The numbers drawn were 1, 14, 21 and 23. Lucky Dip winners of €40 each were Chris Morrissey, Sweetbriar, Ray Schley, An Carn and Pat Condron, Coast Road. Thanks to all who support the Lotto.
Congratulations to John Howard, Roselawn, who won the €10,000 first prize in the October Deise Draw, held in Mount Sion last Friday. This was the third time that one of our members has won the big money since April.Terrific prizes to be won monthly. Tickets €10 per month can be got from Pat Cullen or Anne Bohan. Local draw winners were Stan Couch, Elm Park, Mary Prendergast, Doneraile Place and Avery Coryell, Tivoli while John Flavin won the promoter’s prize. Thanks to all who support the Deise Draw.
