Tramore Hill Challenge 2014
Tramore Hill Challenge 2014 is due to take place from 11 am till 3pm on Sunday the 28th September
An exciting one of its kind cycle event in Ireland takes to the streets of Tramore on September the 28th. Run by Tramore Tourism, and with all proceeds going to Waterford Hospice, The Tramore Hill Challenge will test rider’s skills when they battle with the legendary steep hill of Tramore’s Upper Strand Street and Main Street. It must be noted that not just the elite cyclist being targeted, this is an event for all the family.
There will also be the Teens and Kids Race in which all under 12s will receive a certificate of completion. The Emergency Services Race is back as is the infamous Fancy Dress Race! The latter is not about speed as the prize is for most outrageous costume. distances will vary per age group Adults will race up the whole length of Upper Strand Street & Main Street to win the coveted King and Queen of the Hill, or alternatively you can race in the Over 30s, Over 40s or Over 50s Race?
For the serious racer out there they will be a predict your time contest and no bike computers or stop watches will be allowed to aid participants guesses. Elite racers are invited to enter our Predict Your Time contest. No bike computers or stopwatches are permitted; just give us your best guesstimate!

All participants MUST wear a helmet. The event is held in aid of the Waterford Hospice.
