Waterford City Urban Renewal Meetings

Waterford City and County Council will be holding two Public information evenings to address any queries or concerns members of the community may have regarding the Waterford City Centre Urban Renewal Scheme.

The proposed works involve the construction of a reflective canopy over the Apple market, repaving of the street surfaces and the addition of new street lighting, street furniture and public art pieces. The works will also include a number of changes to the traffic layout in the city centre.

Staff of the city and County council and the Design Team will be available between 5.00pm and 7.00pm on Wednesday the 1st of July in the Edmund Rice Centre, Barrack St to answer any questions members of the public may have. A second information night will take place at the same time on Thursday the 2nd of July in City Hall.

All information regarding the Urban Renewal works is on display at Waterford City and County Council Customer Care Desk, Baileys New Street, Waterford City and the Civic Offices of Waterford City and County Council, Davitt’s Quay, Dungarvan
