Waterford Td’s Make 788 representations regarding medical Cards
Taoiseach Enda Kenny and former Minister for Health James Reilly have made more than 300 representations each on behalf of constituents in relation to medical cards since 2011.
According to a new report from the Department of Health, four Waterford TD’s made 788 representations on behalf of constituents seeking medical cards in the first eight months of this year.
Labour’s Ciara Conway had the highest amount, making 278 representations, 242 by phone and 30 by email.
Independent John Halligan’s office made 186 calls and sent 53 emails.Fine Gaels John Deasy made 181 representations, 70 callS and 111 emails while Minister of State Paudie Coffey had the lowest figure of 90. His office made 73 calls, and sent 16 emails.
